Brazilians, Rackets, and 14 Ways to Look at a Fascist
What are the most common REPEAT-PERFORMANCES on DU.

I'm talking about the posts that show up in forums again and again, and each time the poster puts them up as if thy're new. My top three:

1. The Brazilian Joke
2. Smedley Butler's "War is a Racket"
3. The 14 Characteristics of Fascism

What are some others?

5. A GOP slopehead misspelled a sign, and his low IQ is forever mocked...
by the usage of his misspelled words on his poster.. I'm sure someone will post it for you.

3. at this point, at least 99% of the time
the Brazilian joke is being posted by someone who knows darn well that it has been posted before.

Some jokes such as the "would you use color film or Black and white film to take a picture of Bush drowning?" but you only see it about twice a year or so. It is not excessive, and probably there are large groups that have not heard it.

10. The Hermann Goering quote
“Why of course the people don’t want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, the common people don’t want war: neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But after all it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship…Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is to tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger.”

That's an OP at least once a week, and a reply incessantly.
