after seeing socaldem's desk with the cat on it, i realized i'm probably not the only person here who needs to free up some real estate. i'm used to a desk roughly 4x the size i'm using due to living arrangements beyond my control, but daaaamn!!

i'm not really a slob, but i've let my desk go for far, far too long.

p.s. the teriaki and nyquil are NOT part of some secret cocktail recipe :silly:

2. hehe
I tend to forget when i get out of the shower, so i end up with it all over the house.. i've got deodorant in the car too, as well as a tooth brush just because i'm usually in a hurry to get to work..

4. it's just horribly ugly..
it looks dirty but it isn't, a friend gave it to me while he was into selling printed stuff and it was too ugly for him to keep.. so naturally i volunteered to take it off his hands.

i guess nobody else wants to bare their souls?

8. Yep. Portable DVD
The small screen is just fine-sits a bit below eye level. The sound is killer with the headset! It's an Audiovox, around $250 at Costco.

7. I think I have y'all beat.
I have a very big desk. And I have stacks of papers and binders and books and nootbooks that average 28" tall all over it. And I have them stacked on a couple of chairs right next to it. And the drawers are filled with papers and notebooks too. And then they're the bookcases right behind me.

But I know where everything is.

Future archaeologists are not going to be so lucky...

then i could just d/l the attachment and not worry about carrying them around.

22. LOL! ..Those are JBL's They sound great.
The Amp is right under the left side of the desk (on the left side of the keyboard) It's a Yamaha CP2000. I love it but the neighbors
don't appreciate it!

I didn't think anybody would notice the board or the mike.
The lexicon is right above the wooden thing (above the mike and amp)

I used to play in bands (Sax and piano) and I wanted a good sound system
so I bought all this "stuff".

Since the top 40 has gotten so "Madonna like" I've just about quit playing (sigh) plus the fact that there isn't any bands around here that I really care to play with....

26. I just noticed it - and you can just barely see it in the photo -

but there's a stray unshelved CD on the shelf that the monitor is on.

If you look close, you will see the speaker on the left hadn side. Toward the top of the speaker, running left, is an almost horizontal wite line. That's the CD.
