Good news, bad news day at work
Strange day all around, full of highs and lows. One of my co-workers' lost his SO yesterday - she's been fighting lymphoma but was doing well (we thought) - he came home from work and found her gone. :( Big bummer.

Then I found out I was getting a department bonus which is good news - may be as much as a thousand bucks which i could really use. Good news.

Then i found out my new assistant spent all day yesterday screwing off when he should have been taking care of my department. Yet another bummer.

Very strange - up and down. I hate those days.... they're so manic/depressive.

3. Oh, yes
He seems to think that being bumped up from bagger to helping me in the liquor department means he has a cushy, easy job. Exact opposite. I work my ass off and I'll be damned if his little frigging tail is going to be doing nothing while I pull all the weight. Oh, no. He was bumped up easy enough and he can be bumped right back down.

I have three kids - which means I'm well versed in disciplining and I know all the excuses in the book.

2. Sounds like lots of ups and downs, indeed.
Did you know tomorrow is a full moon lunar eclipse, too? Things always get "interesting" around those times...

Sorry about your co-worker's SO. That's sad. :(
Congrats on the bonus! That's great!
Bummer about your assistant. Sounds like he needs a firm talking to. Good luck.

:hi:

4. I like roller coasters, but....
And as you know, I've had other dopey things going on with my own SO. Too much at once! I just want to curl up on the sofa and rest!!!

I didn't know about the eclipse - interesting indeed. And tomorrow is our first day of couples counseling! My, I live a strange and eventful life! At least it's never boring!

Oh, and by the way, where in the world would a spam filter be?! :hi:

5. I have absolutely no idea how to explain it.
I'm totally lame in the tech dept, sorry. Somehow it's filtered through yahoo, that's all I know. I got a lesson on how to clear out the spam from the hubby but I don't really understand it.

Good luck tomorrow! I send you all my best wishes, skygazer... :loveya:  :pals:
