This is actually the first time I have watched this, so forgive me for posting a repetitive thread, but I just cannot BELIEVE THIS!!

The guy Jim Bob (hyuck hyuck) actually ASKED HIS WIFE'S FATHER IF HE COULD MARRY HER when they were younger. What, is this, like 1882, or something?? (Excuse me sir, may I COURT your daughter??) Blech.

Hey lady, your uterus can do OTHER things besides spit out babies, you know. Like MENSTRUATE. Have you ever heard of it??

Statistically speaking, two of those 17 kids will turn out gay.

I feel bad for the ones who are going to get shunned for being different. I feel sorry for the ones who will never question anything and pop out 15+ more kids just like mom and dad. It's really a no-win situation.

Meanwhile, I'm watching a documentary on polygamy on A&E. This world is just filled with interesting people...

7. I'm watching that one now.
The TLC documentary is portraying the fundies in too good of a light. This one seems more like investigative reporting.

I think that this "family' is a pack of inbreeds and that part of the documentary is being left out.

My sister has three kids and they are freaking out about paying for their education. (they had twins, his tubes got tied a few days after she gave birth to the girls)

Maybe the TV freak-show-family-gig pays well.
