Honda minivans...warranties & mileage question

Well, a question for all the Honda fans out there: we're thinking of purchasing an '02 or '03 Honday Odyssey minivan.

I've found one at an excellent price w/ 85k miles, it has the Honda transferrable warranty to 100k, has a new tranny w/ transferrable warranty, dealer repair records, and so on. My wife is concerned that such a car with higher mileage will set us up for big car repairs soon (my '98 Subaru Legacy did this to us, since the prev. owners neglected maintenance, f*cked the transmission, and lied to us about it. Never buy a used car from a nice old couple in Newton Corner, Masss.)
So, do you think we'd be covered since it's under warranty for another 15k miles - my wife does 4k/year - or until 2009, whichever comes first? I have no Honda experience and no Honda warranty experience.

(PS: we're not looking at other minivans, the Ody was by far the best minivan of that generation, and my one long trip in an '05 Grand Caravan cured me of any desire to ever own a DaimlerChrysler product)
