Frodo loves to turn blocks of wood into toothpicks but she isn't too bad at shredding other things.


The favorite toy of 3 out of 4 of our parrots is the Parrot Piñata.

the problem was that it was in his cage for 3 months. he was scared of it at first, but when he finally went after it, it was gone in a matter of days! LOL. maybe he needs a replacement soon...

but his favorite is chomping on blocks of wood too :D

I always make a point of having a look at the full moon; it's the night in the month when Ginger's most likely to go crazy, draggin' in birds, field mice, etc. :scared:

this last full moon was an eclipse, too. There will be a solar eclipse on the 29th, making these next couple weeks a very interesting time, indeed. Energetically, eclipses tend to "amplify" whatever's going on.

Has their appearance changed much as they've grown up? My sister-in-law has a kitten who looked a lot like your kitty on the left, but in the past year, she (Sumi) has become less dark and more smoky-gray. Do you have a recent photo of your girls? They're beauties, Shine! :hug:

She's scheduled for surgery on the 29th-only a couple weeks now. I personally am NOT happy about how the 'doctors' have treated her.

I just marked the 29th in my agenda as "good vibes for The Prophetess" day. :hug:

All in all, the doctors and their staffs have treated this situation in the 'people are modular and we can take them apart and put them back together again' way, and I am really pissed off about it. We went to her PCP yesterday and complained about how ASAP for surgery turned into 8 weeks, how she was given repeated prescriptions for Vicodin AFTER she informed them that Vicodin was making her sick, how the staff can't figure out her contact information even though it's in her file, etc.

So, I started talking to the doctor yesterday about the issue of getting her into surgery ASAP, since the longer it is put off the higher the risk of permanent nerve damage, and he comes back with 'well, after 6 months'. As if there's a magic cutoff line at 6 months! As if someone is fine up until 6 months, and then suddenly everything turns on it's head! These numbers are averages-for the average person, a 6 month wait for surgery may be fine and not cause permanent nerve damage, but that doesn't mean it's true for everyone, and there's no way to tell until after it is done. He damn well should know that

This is some sort of intervertebral surgery, isn't it? If so, I have a PM to send you later.

:loveya: I'm eating better and I have an appt to see my Dr at 11:45am today. I'm due for a full checkup from end to end :rofl: in the next two weeks, but there are a couple of issues that need addressing now. All in all, I'm doing A-OK, I've come a long way with a ways to go yet.

I just went outside and took this pic of a flowering citrus tree in my backyard and seem to have captured a ghost orb, too!

Honest! I took several pics, same shot, same angle, and this is the only one with the orb in it...spooooky!

I lovelovelove some crazy clouds, and we had _plenty_ of them when I was growing up in Tornado Alley.
