3. In the interests of propriety
I'll give you a manly back-slapping bear-hug - or perhaps a good firm hand-shake would be better....

4. At the very least
you can have a hug.

I am hugging guys all the time. And none of this man-hug shit. I only have one kind of hug, an embrace, which is good for males and females alike. :)

7. And if he has no money,
it's an unfunded man-date! *ba-dum slpash!* :D

No, a man-hug is the way two guys hug other to show affection but still make it quite clear that they positively definitely most certainly are not gay, no way, uh huh. ;)

I don't drink. So I would make a crap Irishman. :)

(Guess I make a pretty poor Englishman too, for that matter).

25. Best line ever heard in an Irish pub
by a friend of my ex-wifes, from an elderly local gentleman:

"So, do you have any Irish in you?"

"No"

"Would you like some?"

:o

I love Ireland, and the people. One of the nicest places on earth, IMHO.

26. I agree 100%...
and not just because of my Irish heritage. I don't know where you'd find any nicer, friendlier people. Intelligent,too....most of them don't judge the rest of us by * and his thugs.
