It would be nice if it told you which one you got wrong, and what the right answer was.

and I was thinking the same thing about them not telling you which one you got wrong. I am pretty sure it was the who was the "first commander and chief" one. I was thinking maybe that was kind of a tricky one. It was the only answer I didn't feel I knew strongly.

Because even though Washington was the first President, and he was the leader of the Revolutionary army, was he actually technically labled "commander and chief" or was that term adopted later. I guessed him though because I had no clue. And here I am with a B.A. in history. I am hanging my head in shame here.

Is anyone here willing to share who it was? So I can know if this is the one I got wrong or a different one.

Washington was the correct answer.

The colonies. I got 10 out of 10 but I wasn't 100% sure about that one.

Not bad. . . . I think I know which two I got wrong but I'm not sure.

I guessed on the 13 Colonies question and when the Constitution was written. (Was it the same time as the Declaration of Independence or later?)

From the time of our independence until 1787, we operated under the Articles of Confederation. The present Constitution was written in 1787.

which could be a dumb one, but I'm going to ask.

When I was in 11th grade (about '98-'99), my American history teacher made us take the citizenship test and while I don't remember every one of the questions, I do know that the last one was what the colors on the flag stand for...and that is the one that I missed then. Do they change the test?

Missed the Commander in Chief and 13 colonies questions. I could have sworn that Commander in Chief was a title added after Washington's presidency. Guess not.

For a second I thought that maybe the "Commander in Chief" thing was a trick question; it just kind of stuck out. But I figured if it's mentioned in the Constitution it would have been a responsibility of the first President.

Based on my ANSWERS, I should have gotten 9/10.

But I got 5/10 -- either something went wonky with the coding, or I really need some sleep.
