Poll question: Should OJ have been found guilty?
Edited on Thu Dec-04-03 03:04 PM by brainshrub
According to the Constitution, OJ is not guilty. What do you think?

How would you have voted?

1. Oh God yes! He did it!
A former co-worker (white) was convinced it was a conspiracy. He was always rational otherwise!

3. By definition
he is not guilty, due to our constitution.

This does not mean that he didn't do it (and SHOULD HAVE been
found guitly)!

5. Not guilty in court
but guilty as hell in reality.
I could not have found him guilty in Court if I was on the Jury. After reading about the trial, I realized the DA's case was horribly presented, the LAPD untrustworthy, and some evidence either tampered with or falsified outright.

That doesn't mean OJ didn't do it.

7. Well, the trial sure made him look innocent
The only thing close to evidence the defense presented was the gloves and the blood. You saw the glove fitting incident, and the man who invented the DNA process used to determine it was OJ's blood swore that they did it wrong and it wasn't OJ's blood. I'd have voted not guilty, too.

As for whether he did it-- Who can know? All anyone here has seen is evidence filtered through the media that has turned Bush into a hero and got Clinton impeached. I don't trust that evidence. I'm too familiar with how stories are crafted and evidence interpreted to believe I know anything but what the media focus groups decided would keep my interest best.
