Any fans of "Tommy's Joynt" in San Francisco?

Any fans of "Tommy's Joynt" in San Francisco?

My brother took me there last month and I really liked the place. Its cafeteria/deli style service with an array of cuisines. The roast turkey dinner was great,as was the spaghetti and meatballs,bolognese-style. And they serve "Anchor Steam"on tap too!
Has anyone else ever been to this fine establishment?

2. My brother has been going there for30+ years or so.

I love the interesting curios hanging on the walls and from the ceiling.
Brotold me that John Madden hangs out there from time to time. Hunter S. Thompson did too. Thats where he met him back during the 80's.

3. I do remember trying to take in all the paraphernalia on the walls, etc.

A unique place, indeed. I'm glad it's still around. I recall it being on Van Ness, but I could be mistaken (?)
