OK, all joking aside, I cannot imagine why anyone would red button you. I made the mistake of speaking the truth and not allowing myself to be bullied. Now harleydad is getting partronized, but he doesn't know it because he went to bed. Guess she had to set him straight before she red-buttoned him. Or maybe she hasn't made the connection yet and still thinks she'll be able to get a convert over to her side. :shrug:

Nice pictures. I was a diver with the Army Corps of Engineers in the early sixties. We worked at Whitefish Point and Little Lake. We were there October through November. Oh boy the water was cold. The area around Little Lake was wilderness. In my free time my wife and I searched the shore for agates (the semi-precious stones).

Along the coast line between Little Lake and Whitefish Point there were several abandoned lifeboat stations. The homes that housed the crews remained just begging to be explored. I bet they are pretty well gone back to the earth by now.

Beautiful country.

read it and enjoyed it. Gad, sorry about your kitty and your son's friend. I almost cried on the outside but I really did cry on the inside. I have an old cat and the thought of ever loosing her kills me. Again so sorry.
