4. I would say that fudge is fudge...
...and isn't a brownie--but I won't quibble, and will happily scarf either. Or both.

9. I'm leaning toward the cake style.
I wondering about the shelf life.
Should the excess be frozen or merely refrigerated?

:smoke::smoke::smoke: style!

20. Yes. I've assembled all of bettyellen's ingredients.
:( but I never ate one of them so I don't know if they're supposed to turn out light and fluffy or what.
I baked two batches yesterday. There are two more batches to bake today. Which one travels best?

32.  extra cocoa, strong coffe, and use the double extraction method- boiling
then dropping in the butter, then cool it, and drain off water and give the butter another hour or two on the double boiler before straining. yes, it takes two nights to do properly.
individually wrap and store in the freezer, not the fridge!
if any get dried out or sort of burnt, just crumble them onto ice cream. yum!
good luck joanie!

36. you bet i'm there, see you then!
no worries, i'm sure you remembered the important ingredients. ;)
i don't know why, but refrigeration doesn't work so well, but you can pretty much eat them straight out of the freezer.
yum!

37. I was wondering about that.
The first batch was yummy. :) I didn't know if leaving them in the cookie jar, refrigerator or the freezer was best for storage.
Nobody likes soggy brownies!

38. as long as they are completely cool when you wrap them.
it should be fine, not too soggy. they're really okay in the pan for a while with just foil covering them, but after a day or so they get kinda dried out, and well then you'll need the ice cream. so if you want to save any for more than two days, definately individually wrap em, and into the freezer. :hi:

41. Those brownies, however, will NOT work with "Dude. Where's my Car?"
They were touted as an "enhancement" to the flick. In fact, they had a unique ability to amplify the unfunny (i.e. the entire movie), and the dead scenes (i.e. the entire movie) moved sooooooooo slow. Ultimately, what they did was make that dreck seem twice as long as it really was. Truly, one of the more painful cinema experiences I have had.

Hope your cough is better - been to the doc yet?
