Am I the only person who HATED Saw II?
Saw had its faults....I found the dialogue to be terribly stilted....
But damn....I found myself constantly rolling my eyes during Saw II. Donnie Wahlberg isn't even half the actor his brother is (and that's not saying much, I fear). There was no character development at all. And it was about 100 times more gratuitously gory than the first one.

:(

1. I hate horror flicks, they make me sick
OK, I don't watch movies at all, but I'll really avoid horror.

2. oh me too
but i was convinced to see the first Saw when i was told it wasn't very gory and was more of a thriller. and grudgingly, i agreed with that assessment. but Saw II was a whole different ball of wax. :(

4. Didn't see either
I'm much to squeamish. Heck, I even have to close my eyes when I watch shows on Discovery or TLC.

5. Horrible.
About as bad as the first one, but without the overacting from Cary Elwes. And waaaay too many characters. Yeah, we get that it's a trap and all of these people have to spring themselves out of it, just like the first one. But there are so many traps that they don't end up doing them all. Even the filmmakers said on the extras on the DVD (yes, I did watch the extras. So sue me) that they'd had more things in the house that were not revealed. And for what? It was all so friggin' pointless. Just a markdown copy of theme in "SE7EN" but without the wit, visual style, or acting.
