This time next month will be prime mushroom picking
The season will start here in about three weeks, it's hard to believe that it's actually going to be warm again soon.

I was not even aware there was a season for picking mushrooms. How intresting, I love them and had never really given much thought to how they got to market, I'll have to look into it. Thank god for google :)

4. where did you figure out which are good and which are not
my grandfather used to boil them with a silver dollar in the water and if it turned black you had to throw out the whole batch as one was bad.
