Those of you following my absolutely fascinating saga know I've begun teaching in Bellville, IL. Anyhow, I began teaching a quarter-based class at Scott AFB today and I was really impressed w/ the warm welcome they gave me. Seems like they ramped up security a bit so I'd feel a bit more comfortable about possbilbe terroist threats, etc. They did some fly bys and even had some journos on hand. Sweet! Finally, they gave me a special chair they reserve for VIPs like me, one with a notch cut down the middle of the seat so "all my junk could fit" (whatever that means....)
Cool huh?
