Maybe you had to be there?
I had to go to a municipal court house today, through the entrance where everybody goes to line up behind the windows to pay their traffic tickets. There was this old geezer deputy at the entrance making everyone empty their pockets before walking through a metal detector.

I emptied my pockets, took off my watch, and walked through the detector. It went off. He said, “It is probably your belt.” I said, “Do you mean I have to take my belt off?” He replied, “Yes.”

I responded, “What if my pants fall off?” He retorted, “Then, you’re gonna get another ticket."

I thought that was so funny! :rofl:

3. I don't hold it against him.
The buckle would have set off the wand, and then he would have had to check to see if I had a gun shoved behind the buckle or down my pants.

It was cool. ;)
