Cute guy though, the one who falsely claimed to have testicular cancer. Obviously a jerk.

1. That reverend woman made me want to smack her upside her head
Self-righteous, Bible-thumping little twit who spouts about others being sinners though she claimed bankruptcy while sitting on $100 grand. Stupid hypocritical snot. :grr:

2. Wasn't it priceless when it turned out that 'she of no sin' is the one
who cheated? LMAO! I was howling. I absolutely loved the twists and turns. The producers can play so many mind games on these people. Send them to bed 5 times a day if they want, because they have no idea of time. The voice out of nowhere, ordering them around. I can hardly wait to see their faces when the money 'clock' starts going down, down, down.

That so-called minister wouldn't last five seconds with me. ;)

3. I'm not sure how I'd play it with her
I'd probably start off biting my tongue, then end up tearing her head off after a while. I have this woman like her at one of my jobs. She's constantly singing hymns, reading aloud from her Bible or yelling "Amen, Praise the Lord" and the like to her religious programs every minute of her shift. I kid you not--this woman is not silent for one minute of the time she is on the clock and any time her mouth is moving there is a 95% chance it is something religous. To compound the problem she is incapable of doing anything in a normal conversational tone (let alone quietly). Everything has to be LOUD to the point that you can hear her voice reverberating throughout the entire house even if you stick your fingers in your ears and jack up the volume of the television or radio. I've even resorted to going out and sitting on the front porch and I can still hear her mouth.

I've held my tongue so far, but one of these days I'm going to snap.

4. I'd have killed your co-worker by now. LOL?
Heck, I'm christian and I was yelling at that idiot woman on the TV. And I'm PRAYIN', yes, I'm a' prayin' that someone in that underground home asks her one question. If she takes the bible SO literally, then what does she think of slavery?
I really want to see her sputtering around trying to answer that one.

I really feel for the gay man - having to put up with her for God only knows how long.
I wanted to give him a bunch of

And give her a - and that is being polite. LOL.

5. Two weeks ago
I had a momentary impulse to push her down the stairs--and I abhor violence. She was driving me that crazy. I finally took my book and went outside to read until the transportation van came to pick up the clients so I could get some relative peace (though I could still hear her voice from inside the house).

I've reported her to my supervisor for her obnoxious behavior but so far nothing has been done.

6. I'm bad.
I actually LOL at your wanting to push her down the stairs. You are lucky you can get away from her at such times. Or we'd be doing a DU thread to get you a lawyer and bail money! ;)

7. Unfortunately my ability to get away is very limited
I'm working up my nerve to confront her, because I'm reaching the end of my rope. Something has gotta give (besides my nerves)!

8. Good luck. But your boss should have taken care of the situation.
Religion should be kept out of the work place, unless you work in a church, temple or mosque. :)

9. I agree
I don't care what religion a person is. I don't care what they wear or read, or even what they watch (so long as the volume is reasonable). But when they cram it into my ears constantly, I have a huge problem with it.

10. she's one of those faux christians
whose behavior isn't particularly christlike.

Psssst: Bigot-biotch, Jesus never said anything about gay people. But he did mention jackasses like you that bray constantly about the fabulousness of their own faith. I think the bible is a compilation of folks stories. If you believe it, why are you the antithesis of christ?

I'm tempted to say that to her just to see the look on her obnoxious face.

Thanks for giving me a good laugh!

12. I have a fundie sister.
We were very close for years. I actually attended bible college (hard to believe, eh?) with her for a year a thousand years ago. She is now an ordained Foursquare denominational fundie minister and a principal at a christian school. She loves James Dobson.

We hadn't spoken in about five years - actually since Junior stole the 2000 election (no coincidence)- until my father died recently. But it took only a couple of weeks.

My last words to her were "Bite me."
