OMFG OMFG IT WAS AWESOME!

...boy it's a good thing the Wachowski brothers are rich, they'd SO be in Gitmo for this.

Seriously. I haven't read the graphic novel (only Alan Moore stuff I'm familiar with is the League of Extraordinary Gentlemen), but from what I hear the essential stuff is left intact. I went with a very large group of geeks, most of whom read it, and there was general surprise that so much *was* left in.

They've made a novelization based on the screenplay, which is what I have. It's excellent so far, and I'm only about 88 pages in.
