harleydad needs some those wonderful DU good vibes.
He's home from work with a sore back today. We were up most of the night because he couldn't get comfortable enough to sleep. He can't even think about sitting at the computer. :(

Aren't we a pair? The sick leading the lame ... but I'm on the mend, thanks to all your prayers and good vibes and thoughts :loveya:, so I can handle it. Time for me to step up and return some of that spoiling he's so famous for.

10. Much better.
But allergy season hasn't really started yet so I suspect it will be nasty in a few weeks.

13. Well, I'm glad she's better.
But it sucks that she'll have to go through it for so long. I'm severely allergic to mold ... and I live in South FL! She's lucky she has a good mom to take care of her.

17. She's five.
They have chicks that were recently hatched at school. She wants to bring one home w/ her. You know what the answer was.

She's also mad about not watching tv last night. I decided it was too much and I turned it off.

Lucky you ... it won't last very long. Well, not as long as when she turns 14. EVERYONE has to have a chick, you know. :D What's the school going to do with them?

Her family can certainly use them.

And she's five going on thirty.

24. She knows everything already
and will tell you all about it. I'm getting a bit tired of her attitude.

She's a smart little girl. She remembers things long after they were discussed (like details about Lincoln's death. Her teacher said that the other children didn't really listen and she still kept asking for more info. And while the other kids check out books about princesses and trucks she picks books about the solar system.)

I already know that I have my hands full.

If it's not hot dogs or pizza she gets mad.

And she used to love trying new foods. Everything has changed since she started school.

6. Well, I could do that,
but I think it might hurt him. I'm expecting to make it to 95% today, so I can take good care of him. Well, that is, if I ever get off my butt and get showered and dressed. Just watch -- we'll have all our mess going today and someone will want to see the house.

We'll try not to be so needy next week.
