Reason why I like the Journals:

Since members are mostly showing what they think are their best posts there and might use the modules for a bit of personal information, etc., I find it much more convenient to scan a Journal than to read a profile or even find post's through the search function for a specific user (of course, if the specific user has her/his Journal enabled.) It gives me a quick overview, and that's what I like.

Note: All of this does not apply to no name no slogan's Journal. If I could read that perhaps ... ;)

7. No, what I mean is the fact
that I use the search function on someone I might be suspicious of, like many do, and scan through the posts. Now I just click on the Journal button and get a good vibe about the person.

17. Ah. That makes more sense.
I was wandering back through my old post this morning adding a few to my journal for just that reason. Although there are a few I would like to add but I decided against it.

4. Are you looking at it with IE?
I have Firefox and am able to actually read a bit. If you have IE, you can't read at all. :rofl:

I once sent a love note to a woman in college, typed entirely in dingbats (this was back in the late 80s, when the Macs first got big on college campuses).

I never thought she'd decipher it, so I put some *ahem* off-color remarks in it. Was I ever embarassed when she decoded it.

11. Hey, my journal is ahead of its time
by a good half-hour, at least. Pretty soon everybody's journal will look like mine.

I don't have a whole lot to say that's very important, but at least I can be an ass when I say it. :silly:
