2. I read it years ago.
I was probably 17 or 18 at the time and my bizarre group of friends at the time read this along with such other classics as Naked Lunch and Catcher in the Rye. Took me another 14 or 15 years to embrace that demented soul underneath which was the likely reason in which I did enjoy it so much.
