Read it?

Seen the movie?

I'm watching it right now... I've had the book for years, but never actually read it...

1. I read the book
Elizabeth Wurtzel is probably the angriest author I have ever read.

2. Yeah, I kinda got that...
I couldn't decide if I wanted to feel sorry for her or hate her or identify with her or reach into the television and throttle her...

I guess that was the point, lol. I think I will read the book now though.

3. Just the sheer pathos in that book is interesting
if you are a student of people. I was amazed at the situations that she put herself in.

4. Judging from the movie,
I can understand how she did some of what she did, especially while she was at school--it's really easy to get swept up into some really unhealthy s**t if you already have issues going into college... but some of it was beyond me...

5. A lot of the situations she got into were far fetched
because she had the means to run amok, as it were.
