2. I Get To Try Out My New Boots!
For NYC DUers, there's this boot store up on 3rd ave. Btwn 85th and 86th that's going out of business. I got a pair of Chippewa's that normally go for $200 for $40!! It's a crazy sale, like 80-90% off everything...

4. I Think I'ts "World of Boots"
Edited on Fri Dec-05-03 11:14 AM by Beetwasher
Or something like that. You can't miss it though. It's on the e. side of the street, on 3rd btwn 85th and 86th. It has big going out business signs in the window...

Oh and it's not just boots either. They have all kinds of mens and womens shoes...W/ the prices they're offering though, I wouldn't expect the stock to last much longer...

20. I'm sticking with my old Canadian snow boots
from Harry's Shoes on Broadway. I figure the Canadians know something about snow boots and these certainly have held up well.

8. And it's actually sticking and not melting!
still melting when hitting the sidewalks and streets, but sitting nicely on the trees and cars.

In all my years of being all over and seeing many places with snow, including the far outback countryside, I have to say that NYC is one of the most beautiful things when covered in snow.

I just went out to get my lunch. I love snow! I especially love it when it's fresh and hasn't had a chance to get too dirty.
