10. A balsam...I like the old-fashioned look and a tree where you can hang
stuff way in by the trunk and not just crust it on the outside *lol*
I have 8 large totes full of Christmas decorations, so I need a tree I can hang lots of schtuff on!

Christmas is something I get through, and I'm always relieved when it's over. We do the gift exchange, but we don't decorate. I'm an atheist and my wife is Jewish, we both hate winter, but we have a daughter, so we do something for Christmas and Chanukah.

(BTW, jchild, my smoking cessation program is a dismal failure. How's yours?)

6. You thread hijacker you!
LOL! Miserable miserable failure.

I made it nine days. I had to take a midterm and had never studied and not smoked while studying, so I said, "screw it!" and went to the store.

I talked to my physician, though, and am going to try again through the holidays with the help of zyban or something like that--I think it is an antidepressant used for smoking cessation. You might want to look into that.

Have set another quit date: December 15.

Don't give up, Burt. You and I both can do it. I just can't do it cold-turkey without assistance with the lifestyle I lead...too hectic.

Best wishes.

Oh, and about the tree thing--you definitely fit into the "other" category! LOL!

8. I need to set a date too. I really, really do.
Edited on Fri Dec-05-03 11:30 AM by BurtWorm
I made the mistake once upon a time of setting Election Day 2000 as my quit date. Who knew what a lousy choice of date that would be?

PS: We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.

9. Zyban = Wellbutrin
As long as we're hijacking... Ask your doctor about Wellbutrin. It's exactly the same as Zyban but usually costs less.

Me: no Christmas tree. I'm flying home to my family for the holiday. But even if I weren't, I wouldn't have a tree.
