Think I'll get a Catfish po-boy dressed, a side of gumbo and some sweet tea. Its about 60 degrees and sunshine today. I'll probably have to swing by the Tropical Isle for a Bud Draft, sit on the balcony and watch the world pass by. I'm sure there will be some out of town folks there wanting to share opinions about how to save the planet. Come on down.

Actually, NO is only 8 hours away. I should just hop in the car and go one of these weekends.

Edit - I'd like to have a travel partner though, dammit. I can only listen to myself think for so long.

6. Turducken!
For inquiring minds - Turducken is a Chicken stuffed in a duck and then its all stuffed in a Turkey. About Thanksgiving time each year it all gets stuffed into Humans. Bone Appeteat!!!!!!!

7. Have you ever had it?
I haven't, but by Gum I will, if it's the last thing I do. I've considered making one, but I guess you can get them frozen by mail order and you just pop it in the oven. That's my kind of cookin'!

15. Never had a turducken but
almost burned the neighborhood down deepfrying a Turkey. There's just something about that Boo-dro trick that invites disaster. However, a Turducken sure does sound appealing. You can buy them already "assembled" for you to cook and eat.

4. A muffeletta (sp?)
and a begniet (sp?) from the French Market.
See if Debbie still dances at that club on Rue Royale.
She would be 60 something now.

9. Yep, me too....
I gotta get back to the big easy and relieve some this election year stress. I sure wish the Dems would have used New Orleans as the convention city this year. Man, whatta party that would have been.

11. She's 60 now
but no more than 40 about midnight. Chris Owens is about 137 but looks good through the alcohol fog. Sugar coated beignets washed down with Coffee and Chicory. Gotta Go....

14. Where is the new restaurant?
They need a new one. You can wait in line an hour if you go at the wrong time.

13. Would you stop by Pat O'Brien's?
Just for old times sake?
You don't have to drink one of those god-awful tooty-fruity Hurricanes, just have a beer.
Thanks.
