I nominate ABC NEWs for the Pulitzer Prize!

Last night they ran a startling expose on the Sunday night news (When all of America is watching of course) that revealed the following facts:

Fact: all of the world believes that Global warming is an accepted scientific theory except Americans, who think that many scientists doubt that global warming is happening.

Fact: For years, the petroleum companies and the coal companies have waged a successful disinformation campaign to convince Americans that Global warming is controversy in the scientific community rather than a generally accepted scientific theory.

Fact: For years, American policy has been shaped by those few scientists on the fringes who disagree with the generally held theory of Global warming.

Shocked, shocked I am, to hear such things! ABC must have dug long and hard to find out these facts. They should be applauded for bringing these facts to the attention of the American people in such a forthright matter and in such a way as to make everyone sit up and take notice. Why I bet two or three people besides myself actually saw the report!
