Does Kazaa get partitioned?

I'm wondering if anyone knows, does Kazaa get partitioned into different segments? In other words, at the time of this writing (12:56EST), is everyone seeing approximately 3.6 million users sharing approximately 635 million files?

Just curious. Thanks.

3. I believe Kazaa is segmented

so that you dont see all connected. I tested that by running a couple searches/disconnecting/then running more searches and you get varying results.
