Why would my parents tell me to put my windfall into new furniture instead
Okay, it's for a bed that doesn't get much use... though I've slept in it for 12 years...

But not toward my debt.

Is this a sign there is not much time left for us all?

3. Because they want you to take care of yourself and want to see you
doing things to better your life? There is as much time for as as we choose to make Hypno. Lying in the I.C.U. last year gave me a newfound appreciation for things...and a desire to wring everything I can out of life.

And with luck there are the 2 years left I need.

6. I doubt that. And if that's what they thought,
they'd get me a personality change.

7. I recommend a new bed.
There's nothing like relaxing and watching a movie on a good bed. A good box spring and mattress set can run you about $500 even on sale. We (Mrs. DTW & I) use our bed more than any other piece of furniture in the house. Our cats use the rest.

8. I'll be buying one shortly.
I could use a better night's sleep.

Of course, if my damn doctor would go through with the referral for the sleep disorder testing like she's promised three times now... x(

You could do like the gang did on Seinfeld. They got a dentist to sign off on their massage therapy slips so the insurance would pay for it.

10. There are three important things in life, Toad:
Your bed, your toilet and your air conditioning.

Accept the advice of your elders, Grasshopper. They are wise.
