Tinfoil Hatters check in - I want to hear your theories!
Seriously, what do you believe in that would make others think you should be committed?

Aliens? JFK theories? The Government is putting _____ in our _____?

Bring it on. I won't ridicule anyone here, I'm just an interested person.

3. You better believe it's aliens.
And I am not even kidding. I have a strong suspicion that the Great Pyramids were built by a highly advanced alien race as landing sites for their spacecraft.

I am also coming around to the theory of cosmic seeding over evolution AND creationism.

10. I'm sorry, it just kind of popped out.
It was unexpected; kind of like seeing someone here say they believed in the Scientologists' aliens in the volcanoes...just a shock, is all.

14. Ew... I am so not going to take that lying down!
Please refrain from any comparison between myself and my unorthodox views and the concepts behind Scientology--they really freak me out, lol.

13. Nope, not kidding.
I almost wish I was, lol.

I see no difference in craziness level between believing that aliens built the pyramids or brought human life to this planet and believing that one all-powerful diety created man in his/her image and created everything around us and the system of self-governance and social-governance we should live by.

It is just as plausible as any belief system we have managed to create thus far, including atheism and strict Darwinism.

17. I think that's false
The reason I say that is because the existance of God cannot be scientifically proven nor disproven. Thus, spirituality lies beyond the realm of science. However, it can be demonstrated that humans built the pyramids using ordinary technology at their disposal. This is from modern engineering experimentation with ancient tools, and also from written histories of the time.

All things being equal, the simpler explanation is best, or so people say. Thus, the explanation that humans built the pyramids is better than the one that involves aliens flying from light years away to build the pyramids and leave no other evidence of their visit.

Thus, the belief that aliens built the pyramids is crazier than the belief in God, because there is hard evidence that humans built the pyramids, whereas there is no scientific proof that God does or doesn't exist.

That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

11. *Sigh*...JFK
At this point, to "believe" the Warren Report is like saying you "believe" in the veracity of the Moscow Trials. The lone gunman theory is untenable, period. And we will never know what happened, because the assissination was never seriously investigated. (Don't believe me? See "Breach of Trust", by Gerald McKnight...or "The Warren Omission", by Walt Brown...or "Never Again", by Harold Weisberg...or Josiah Thompson, or David Wrone, or Michael Kurtz. Those six authors are the most reliable, and they make it clear the crime was never really investigated, much less solved...although just reading the Report, and its 26 volumes of "evidence", as I did in college in '73-'74, is enough in and of itself...

16. Great pic, lol. However...
I actually agree with that statement, aside from the humor. I think that toys have an impact on how our children grow and evolve as human beings, and that only those of the very best quality should be allowed.

I am a stickler on the toy thing...
