I have skated on jury duty so far this week..

They "postponed my service" on Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday..Court is usually not in session on Friday, so if I skate tomorrow night when I call in, I will have fulfilled my duty for another year, and won;t have to go into town :)

Here's hoping..

Last time, I got called in on the last possible day, and was sent at 2pm to a town 40 miles away...sat there for an hour, and the case settled...just in time for rush hour traffic home :eyes:

I have been called every year for about 20 years, and have NEVER even made it into a courtroom.. I just get to do the boring part..sitting in a room with a few hundred starngers, trying to stay awake.
