Now Here's something to Think About...
I just got my prescriptions filled (grateful for insurance)...With our copays, 60 pills of Tambocor=$30 copay 30 pills of DiovanHct=$30 copay, 30 pills of Toprol=$30 copay 30 pills of antivert=$30 copay, a month course of prednisone=$30 copay, 5 day course of Zithro=$30 copay..., 30 pills of Flexeril=$30 copay

Here's the Kicker...

ready????

....90 pills of Vicodin=$8.49

Crazy. The only pill that would be "worth something" to anybody is also the cheapest. Any wonder why people get easily hooked on their painkillers. :hi:

I still can't get over that the only drug that people would clamor for is the cheapest. :loveya: How are things going?

7. True!
I started the day out today pretty proactive. Got an oil change and was out of the dealership by 8:30 AM...went to the grocery store...now I'm hanging out wasting time.

Good for you. It's nice when you can get a lot of things done early. What else is on tap for you today?

9. I've really got to get my reports from last year filed away in a banker's
box. I starte every year out great with filing...and then, around April I stop filing and have reports piled up everywhere. We're thinking about marketing the house and right now the basement office is horrendous looking. I drive MrG nuts.

How about you? :hi:

10. I have work later
but it shouldn't be too bad. I just need to make some phone calls and send out some e-mails. I probably won't go into the office until 5 p.m. or so. Just to check in.
I can do a lot of the stuff from home.

:hi:

to the tasks at hand. ;)

11. That's just insane
your scrip list reads a lot like mine-- five ones each month for just me, and copays out the wazoo.

Thankfully I'm going off one of them. I started cutting back the Ambien a few days ago and it's going alright. I'd rather not be addicted to a drug that makes you "sleep-eat" or "sleep-drive" :scared:

13. Isn't it though? He wanted to put me on Crestor last week and I said,
"Hell no" Another copay? I think not. My cholesterol was at 204 and I think I can manage to bring it down myself.

15. Does your insurance have an annual max for copays?
Some do this - once you have paid a certain amount in copays in one year, any additional prescriptions have no copays.

16. No. I wish. We have BC/BS PPO. It's quite good for everything but the
inflated copays. But, I am lucky that I have that. I couldn't imagine paying full price.
