A little Vino would be keeno.....
What kind of wine do you like?
any recommendations?

I am a white over red (headaches) person....

I enjoy a good Sauvignon Blanc

Relatively inexpensive bottles I enjoy are...
Benziger
Toasted Head
Fess Parker

and when I have more money to spend
Chalk Hill or Cakebread.

for a dessert wine I love Bonney Doone Ice Wine.

2. Any white dry wine.
preferably a French Graves when I can afford it. But when I leave the office today, I'm going home and drink my cheap Chablis.

4. well....
I like reds, but I'll go ahead.

If you're shopping red, my favorite is anything from southern Rhone valley, particularly Chat du Pape, which a good bottle which fetch between $20 and $50 and higher. But anything Cotes du Rhone is typically tasty, and there is a wide variety of pricing availble. I don't have a particular vintner I like, I just like the wines from that particular region. I've also heard good things about Chilean reds, particular those from Santa Rita, and I'm itching to try them as well. They are very Bordeaux-like in quality.

Shiraz has lots of good options. Lindeman's Bin 50 is good for the money. That's my "I just need a glass of wine, nothing fancy or expensive" option.

If you're into whites, but looking for something different, try a Gewurtztraminer. Slightly sweet, but very much a white. I had a Washington state Gewurtz just recently that was very good. I got it for about $6, but can't recall the name right now

I like reds,
but only a glass or two with a meal,
and yes a good chateau neuf du pape is a wonderful thing.

7. Candy is Dandy, but liquor is quicker...
Liquor? I don't even like'er!

We are very picky about our wines... we like fruity whites rather than dry wines, and almost no reds.

I like Reislings, and Muscato's... Chataeu Ste. Michelle is very nice.

8. Like Sauvignon Blanc? Try one from New Zealand or South Africa.
Not quite as good as the best from the Loire, but getting there. And cheaper.
