1. Tucson, AZ......
Um....sunny

Tomorrow......uh, sunny

The next day, sunny

We might have a cloud or two though.

Don't worry, I'm an ass, but I'll be freezing my sack in MT soon when I move back.

2. I read "substantial accumulation"
6-10 is preety substantial.

My husband was going down to Norwood tomorrow to see his mother but decided "no way"!

The forecast is the same for up here...just a little bit delayed. It's wicked cold, too. It was 1 above this morning. Brrrrrr

5. We're supposed to get a truckload of snow here too.
But so far, not much happening. I stayed home from work today due to the forecast, and now I'm feeling like an eejit!

Did you know that in PA, when the forecast is for severe weather, all citizens are required to report to the nearest store and purchase bread, milk, and TP? It's a state law. Seriously.

6. Here in Philly
Our 1-3" of snow changing to rain has already accumulated to about 5". We're due for another 5" which means close to another foot.

On the other hand, I love snow.

25. You mean the Jamaica that's under a tropical storm watch?
Things are weird all over -- but tropical storms in the Caribbean in December are really bizarre.

How hard did it snow, Johhny?
It snowed so hard they had to close the Callahan Tunnel for plowing.

10. Snow in BOSTON??? Oh, my GOD!!!
Hey, at least you don't live in Buffalo. I feel for you, though - I grew up in Minnesota and Colorado, and if I never see another snowflake, it'll be too soon. If I ever make it to the Bahamas, I'll renounce my US citizenship and apply for asylum on weather-related grounds.

11. Sounds wonderful
I grew up in a land without snow. I'd give anything to be able to go out and build a snowman and a snowfort and make snow angels and have an honest-to-god snowball fight (if you throw a sleet-ball at someone they press assault charges).

13. Here in Maryland
In Annapolis we have had snow, sleet, rain and some pretty nasty winds. There is no snow left, only rain likely to freeze in the next few hours. It is dark, cold and miserable here. It is supposed to snow again tonight and tommorrow, but the worst will be west of DC and North of Baltimore.
I just expect freezing rain and sleet in Annapolis. Just enough to make it miserable without any of the fun of snow.

26. Awesome!
I've been so disappointed by the Boston winters these past few years. I'd been threatening my wife with a move to Burlington, VT if things didn't improve. She, incidentally, hates the cold and feels San Diego has the country's best weather.

I don't mind the cold, or the summer heat for that matter. However, a winter without some good old snow storms and chilly winter just isn't satisfying.

Plus now I can test out the all wheel drive system on our new 98 Subaru wagon! :-)

Dolphins, as a rule, don't like snow -- neither the aquatic nor the merely annoying varieties :-)
