(though not sinfully proud, of course :-)) for what they are doing, and for their long stance on social justice issues, from defending the Amistad slaves, to ordaining the first woman, to ordaining the first openly gay man to today. I've loved all their TV ads, too!

I love that they are advertising on DU! That's so awesome of them.

I also love how the Mormons can have their commercials, and Falwell and others can have ridiculous amounts of TV time to spread their hate and lies, and other denominations can advertise with their message of exclusivity, but the UCC can't air a commercial that says "We accept everybody", because that's "controvesial".

UCC is rocking me.... because they actually understand the message. That everyone is worthy of salvation, and they are geting militant about
it. Gay men, lesbians, no broplem. Single mothers, the disabled... They are trying to make a home for all of us.


And the networks won't show their ads. Yeah Jesus said love your neighbor, and that''s controversial?

I'm a pagan but Christ tought us to love..... and the Christians who follow his word shine brightly, brightly and with beauty.
