Poll question: Micronations Poll!
Edited on Fri Mar-31-06 03:50 PM by derby378
There's tiny nations like Nauru, Andorra, Lichtenstein, San Marino, Monaco, and - possibly the smallest of all - Vatican City. And then there are the few, the proud - the micronations!

Here's a primer on Wikipedia to get you started:

Now vote for your favorite micronation in the poll below!

4. Do you mean the State of Yap?

It's part of the Federated States of Micronesia and not exactly a nation in its own right. I don't think they've made a bid for independence.

2. So many great choices...
...but I had to cast my own vote for Lundy. Any nation that names its monetary unit after a bird (the puffin, in this case) is alright by me.

5. Hmmm - it appears to be quite popular
The bandwidth for their official site has been exceeded. I think you're on to something here.

But I was limited to nine micronations and one "Other" category, otherwise Araucania and Patagonia would have been included.
