Sad News: Hal the Coyote has Died
Hal was the coyote that was running around Central Park, NYC, before he was tranquilized. He died while he was being tagged for re-release in the wild...

1. I was always frightened of coyotes
and would herd the cats and dogs into the house when one was spotted on the property. That was until I read Barbara Kingsolver's book, Prodigal Summer. I have so much respect for coyotes now. They are the Rodney Dangerfield's of the animal kingdom in that they get now respect. What great animals. That is very sad news indeed.
