4. I use the Sunday comics from the newspaper . . .
save 'em up for a month or two before Christmas and use 'em for wrapping paper . . . got the idea from Toshi Seeger (Pete's wife). . . that's how she was doing it years ago, and may still be for all I know . . . works well, and costs nothing over and above the price of the papers that I already pay for . . .

5. My family and I get into this stuff less and less year after year.
Honestly, I'm having a tougher and tougher time figuring out the following: What is the point?

My BF and I are doing strictly homemade gifts this year. If you don't like what we made you, too awful bad.

Nobody's getting trampled at Walmart or whatnot in this family in order to celebrate the season.
