My husband surprised me tonight!
He decided to take us all out to a Thai restaurant we had not been to yet. It was very very good.

4. The thing I love about Thai food
is that if there is cilantro, it is usually as a garnish! We have leftovers, because my husband always over orders. I loves me some gaeng panang!

...particularly the spicy coconut sauce. Thai coffee rocks too.

have you noticed that people tend to either LOVE coconut or they HATE it? It never seems to invoke neutral disregard..... kinda like cilantro and licorice.... :)

I think the coconut thing is more of a texture thing than a flavor thing though.

There are so many high quality Thai places in Orange County that I can take you to!

13. Oh, and I wish I had known this at the time
But when you and I met for lunch at South Coast, apparently there is a great Thai place there. I am leery about trying new Thai restaurants because sometimes they end up being more Vietnamese, or Chinese than actual authentic Thai (especially around here).
