My two boys...

Pitter-pat is a cuddly little kitty who loves to sleep on us. Here he is with Mr. kt on our old couch. I see this all the time. And whenever I'm asleep, Mr. kt says he sees Pitter-pat crawl up and get comfortable on me as well!

who's the alpha male in the house.

4. A tabby that can stand up to a pitbull is THE alpha, not doubt about it!

6. WEll, he's fully armed (not declawed) and he's sent my dog
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 09:21 PM by YouthInAsia
to the vet for stitches to his face more than once. The cat is THE MAN over here. He walks around like he's THE MAN too. He's not afraid of the dog. Not in the least. The first day I brought the dog home (he was a three month old puppy) I took him out of the box he came in, put him on the carpet and the cat IMMEDIATELY kicked his ass. JUst to let him know who was THE MAN, I suppose. :)

9. That is Pitter-pat, too. He has his claws and uses them when necessary.
Our friends have this little shitty 4 year old kid that never listens. Pitter-pat is patient and absolutely loves kids. He'll play for hours. But the 4 year old terror gets too rough and won't stop. Pitter-pat gave him some warning meows, tried to get away and finally, here comes the claws. The kid's parents (surprisingly) sided with Pitter-pat. Possibly because their little bundle of hell also messes with their two cats.

We were mighty proud of our boy that day. He got some extra petting and attention, let me guarantee you!

5. Yep. I feel pretty lucky!
I think Mr. kt and I were looking through one of the other million cat thread in the Lounge and saw Merlin. DId you post one recently?

8. Yes. I think I did. He's a wee bit pudgier than Pitter-pat...

This is his favorite spot...our bed.

10. Oh yes, that is the Merlin we were thinking of.
Pitter-patter's favorite spot is our bedroom window. He will sit there all day. And when he hears someone coming home, he races to the door. Seriously races. If you're in the way, you might be hospitalized. That little fuzzy thing will run right over you, under you, through you- whatever he has to do to get to that door with a welcoming "meow."

13. Aren't they the sweetest?
Merlin will sit at MrG's feet and "talk" at him until he acknowledges him when he comes home from work. :)

14. What I wouldn't give for cats who cook, clean and do laundry...
Edited on Wed Apr-05-06 09:39 PM by ocelot
The opposable thumb thing could be a problem for them, though; and I imagine that if they could cook it wouldn't be stuff I'd want to eat... Field mouse remoulade, sparrows au gratin, June bug etouffee, stuff like that.
