I'm not too worried about the management. Usually the casual slippage of the phrase "I'm a lawyer" causes positive actions to occur...and if not, I'm totally using nini's suggestion!

:D I am a lifelong Dodger fan. My Dad was a Brooklyn Dodger fan as a kid (he is from the south, in an era where they had no MLB teams), and he followed them after they moved to L.A. in '58, and for me, being a native southern Californian, they were a natural indoctrination.

I love all of the L.A. teams. I do not acknowledge the wretched Angels, however. They are located in GOP-haven Orange County, and do not deserve the L.A. moniker.

Nini is an enormous Lakers fan (and I have liked them for many years myself), so be careful. ;-)

But yes, please give the Dodgers a try. They are the anti-Yankees. Plus, they gave the world Jackie Robinson and Sandy Koufax. What more could you ask? :D

back in college I had a boyfriend who was really into baseball, and being from Nebraska, I really didn't give a shit about the sport. But...he kinda forced me to pick a team. I chose the Yankees. Ever since then, I claim to be a Yankees fan, though in reality I don't really care that much. So I'm detoxing and switching allegances. ;) ]

Remind me sometime to tell you the story of my law school prof who is a HUGE Dodgers fan, it's really quite amusing. Ah, if only he could see my sig line now... :)

As for the Lakers...no can do. I hate Kobe Bryant with the fire of 1000 suns. And any team who used to claim Shaq can kiss my ass. Sorry. ;)
