Totally, completely, awesome. I very much agree with your assessment of being afraid of people. Unfortunately, it's not something I've been able to turn off yet... mine was fed by my mom and grandfather, not just TV :(

I never expected that off-the-cuff post to generate so many responses, but it did. At that time in DU history, you couldn't swing a dead cat by the tail in the lounge without smacking some guy who had just started a "Why don't women like nice guys?" At the same time, this one poster who's no longer with us had started 40 threads with Van Halen lyrics, to turn on the "chicks."
