Celebrate with me, friends.

Come and grab a flute (okay, wine glass) full of champagne (alright, $10 Martini & Rossi sparkling wine - I'm poor and in college) and lift up your cares. I found out in February that I wouldn't be able to graduate in May because I was missing 3 credit hours in an upper division elective. I found out later that what I needed to do was pass a CLEP exam for either Principles of Management or Principles of Marketing. Now, being a history major, I had successfully avoided any business training up until this point. So on the advice of my executive father, I decided to take the Principles of Management examination. With a modicum of study, I took and passed the exam this afternoon.

I graduate on May 13th - slightly less than four years after I graduated high school. :)

My last class in college was a freshman math class. I figured since I'd taken more advanced classes, that I'd be able to not have to waste time and money on a meaningless class. Wrong! Cheers to meaningless classes! :toast:

I graduated seven years ago and still have recurring nightmares that I missed a class somewhere and have to go back. :scared:

I know the feeling. I remember when I went to my Guidance Counselor at San Jose State, thinking I had to take a year of foreign language before I could get my B.A. Degree, and he said "You had two years of high school French...you're DONE."

I skipped 6 classes with it :D

I mean, I went into there barely understanding the basics of Total Quality Management and I got 13 points more than what I needed to pass! :D

and it cleared up right away.
