I just had a wonderful dinner with Joan_Alpern
She stopped in town on her way back up the coast and we went to a dark little dive for some excellent Italian cooking. We were joined by mr. swim who was very patient as we talked non-stop in DU lingo. mr. swim is a stranger to our customs here but not to our cause.

It was a treat! Thanks, Joani, for a marvelous evening! I'll see you around here and let's do this again in September!

Sounds like fun. Actually, I talked to Ms. Joani on her way to meet you for dinner, which was nice.

8. We took some!
They are in my non-digital camera awaiting developing and scanning. I haven't got a digital camera yet so you must be patient!

So, I'm just taking it slowly (very slowly). I've got to get myself up to par for another DU march opportunity.

I enjoyed meeting you and mr. swim. We managed to keep him laughing about DU.The food was great! Your driving didn't scare me even once.
