I'd be no good at bitch-slapping a crowd as I haven't had enough coffee yet. Besides, I don't want to piss anybody off, I just want permission to think my unacceptable thoughts.

6. Nah, I deserve the slapping, I guess.
I said something anti-Kerry. :blush: :cry: I didn't mean it to sound like it did, and then I came back this morning to find myself in shreds.

I just want people to like me. I guess I'll go eat some worms and practice saying good things about Kerry.

not everyone likes Kerry. I'm a Dean gal and I KNOW there are people here who don't like him but that's ok.

13. More encouraging news (sort of)
Just wait 'till primary season in '07...DU becomes one HUGE flamefest on every Democratic candidate running or rumored to be running. It won't matter if you say something mean OR nice about a candidate...you'll get flamed for it! :D

15. I started lurking in primary season 03, and joined in 04.
I remember the mood here well. Crazy! I should add that I spent most of my early months in the Lounge. In some ways, it's like the Kiddie Pool (a good way to learn how to swim), except without the pee (well, maybe it has that too sometimes).

When it comes to constructing arguments and stinging rejoinders, I'm a lightweight, and I'm not looking forward to the inevitable meanness.
