A tomato is a double-edged sword, with the ability to taste damn good, and the ability to do great harm. It takes a rare zen/jedi master to properly wield the tomato, someone who understands its inherent duality. It is not the tomato that is bad, nor even the people who like them. It is the people who abuse them who are at fault here.

I admit, there may have been a couple of incidents where tomatoes got a little exuberant and things got a tad bit out of hand, but there have only been seven or eight cases of actual tomato homicide in the last ten years, and the numbers are going down thanks to national efforts to educate the public about the true nature of tomatoes.
