Question for Brazilian DUers (No, NOT the joke!!!):

What's the full version of a Brazilian woman's name that's shortened to "Mel?" I think it's something like "Melhe" (maybe with a diacritical mark over the last e) but couldn't understand what she was saying when she spelled it out. Mrs R couldn't catch it either.

Thanks for any help you might be able to offer.

My "make a technical drawing online" software went live in its first implementation yesterday.

Also yesterday, I talked to an old friend for the first time since about 1979, and found that we still have a lot to talk about, and that I know people who can be valuable to her in her career, and that she's going to haul herself and her S.O. up here for a visit this summer (and she called me "my dear" on the phone...just like someone else I know), and she said it was touching how I spoke and wrote about Mrs R with such affection (I guess it does show); in general, a wonderful 45 minutes on the phone.

And this morning I finished up the latest Project From Hell, and sent out the resultant $16,000.00 invoice.

A good two days.
