for my birthday and I could not believe all the people that showed up. I didn't know I had that many friends (or that my hubby could be such a sly one). I was completely surprised and we had so much fun. Definitely the best day of 2003 for me.
There are a couple of contenders...both political and personal.
Testifying at the Texas House Redistricting subcommittee hearing in Dallas in July and getting a standing ovation was probably the best day of the year. Heck it may have been the best day of my life. :-)
But, there were some great personal moments this year. One in particular stands out where I ended up liplocked with a certain someone who shall remain nameless. It was one of those totally unexpected moments that just come out of the blue and are always so wonderful. The universe seems to love to keep me off balance. :-)
