Al Sharpton SNL conflict!
Damn it. The SEC championship game will likely still be on when Saturday Night Live starts. I better run out and get some fresh batteries for the remote.

1. nbc affiliate in my area not going to show SNL tonightq
since Sharpton is a presidential candidate they don't think it appropriate to gve him this much free air time I guess. I think it's stupid and a joke anyone else heard of other stations doing the same thing?

2. that's dumb, because...
SNL has given open invitations to all the candidates to host the show. All they have to do is give Lorne Michaels a call.

3. That's silly
it would only be promoting Al specifically if he were the only candidate SNL would invite. I'm sure they'll offer it to all the candidates at some point. It's their call whether to accept.

To answer your question, it's airing here in NC.

5. that was exactly my point when talking about this
I'm sure SNL would let all the candidates host the show if they wanted to. I don't know how good of an idea it would be for some of them, not even sure if it's a good idea for Sharpton. I like him and all that but that can be a long hour and a half if he's not funny.

anyway, hope it's a good show, I wonder what the hell I get to watch at 10:30 central time? probably another segment of "get to know your channel 7 news staff" that they did last monday at 7pm!! Actlly showed some lame special on their local broadcasters instead of a new Fear Factor. how dumb is that?
