Phil's my favorite kind of nut-- obsessed and very good at what he does. And I like what he does-- a no-kill shelter and care.

He does dogs, too, but cats are the main thing.

He's a regular on the cat froups, and been fighting with people for years. He's damn good but, I daresay, a bit opinionated. Some of his ideas may or may not be right, but are a bit out of the mainstream.

Haven't been to his site in a while, and he's really got it together now, but always check with your vet if there's a real problem.

That looks like a great page and it already answered one question I had--I was thinking of getting another kitten to keep my one cat (one-year old) company. She needs a buddy to play with out in the (fenced-in) garden and also for when we're snowed in in the house, like today.

But that looks like way too much work. Oy vey. I really want another kitten but I sure don't want to go through all that.

I have been working with cats for 25 years or more. Introducing a new cat is very easy. especially a kitten. I have done it twice this year in my home. I have no idea why people without credentials spew like they do.

It livens them up too.:) Introducing an adult cat can be iffy, but most older cats are very gentle and understanding with kittens :)

My two cats thank you also.
