Will the Miami Dolphins fail again?
They're 8-4 now and have been playing pretty good lately. But the curse usually manifests itself in December.

I made up my mind after last season never to get excited about the team again and as usual I find myself breaking that promise. Maybe this thing isn't as pronounced as the Cubs' curse or the Curse of the Bambino (in baseball) but the Dolphins innevitably lose down the stretch.

2. You want a side of sympathy with that exaggeration?
They lose "inevitably"? Come on! The Dolphins are Super Bowl winners. Not only that, but they've posted the only perfect season ever. So they haven't been invincible lately - so what? Try being a Seahawks fan, or a Chargers fan, or a Bengals fan, or (maybe particularly) a Bills fan.

3. Dolphins fans are spoiled
There's no denying that. I'm just fascinated by some of their late season collapses in recent years.

7. Gee
Wasn't Mr "Ignored" really opinionated about the Cubs and their season?

As such, "Ignored"'s opinions and discoveries is of no value to me considering the source smells like a polecat.

4. Well the New England Patriots certainly have a warm.....
reception for the Dolphins tomorrow. Like maybe 12 inches of snow and winds in excess of 20MPH, but I think it's time....and Miami is in the best shape it's been in years. Lots of previous pro-bowlers, and Ricky Williams has on his snow tires tomorrow. Look for an upset in New England tomorrow.

8. mature response
I'd hardly call it spanked when the game was as close as it was. One turnover decided the whole thing basically.

So spank yerself :spank:

6. Only NFL team annually stuck in neutral
Good and hard trying but never a genuine threat. As a Dolphin fan I actually envy teams in this salary cap era that slide down for a year or two, then stockpile premium talent to make a legit run at the title.

Our offensive line is an unathletic farce, and always will be with Tim Ruddy at center. I admittedly got spoiled with Jim Langer and Dwight Stephenson, but watching blob Ruddy for a decade has been a nightmare of relentless mediocrity. If our mustached genius of a coach doesn't completely overhaul the O-line before next season, I'll join trumad and others and demand his ouster.

10. About the website
I believe Griese fumbled against the Colts twice including a crucial fumble with under 2 minutes left in the game. Plus I wouldn't ask him to be fired, he is 39-22 as the Miami Dolphins head coach and the AFC is like the Western Conference in the NFL, having a winning record doesn't guarantee a spot and their are so many great teams in the AFC. Miami is not out of it yet but hopefully by Broncos can close out the season for the 'Phins with a couple of wins ;)

12. Griese fumbled because Freeney blew by the rookie Smith
Why was a very green rookie starting that game??? Because Wanny failed to pick any offensive lineman up during the off season even though he said it was his number one priority....

PLUS...You mention Wanny's winning record as a Phin Coach? Wanny was 11-5 the first 2 seasons and was still blown out in the playoffs... Plus it was a Jimmy Johnson residual effect...

He then went 9 and 7 last year and missed the playoffs and he's awfully close to doing the same damn thing this year.... You've picked the wrong dude to debate with regarding Wanny cause I own that web page.... I know more about Bumstedt and his coaching inabilities than anyone...

11. That game was awesome!!!!
Watching it at home I was sitting there thinking this is the best 3-0 game I think I have ever seen. Not sloppy just good defense and some HARD hitting. Brock MArion knocked Kevin ("He thinks he is Marshall Faulk right now") Faulk OUT and two plays later nailed a NE receiver after a reception. Everyone was throwing their bodies around and the crowd was out of control. Unfortuneately they did start throwing snowballs on the field but not to the extent we have seen some fans do in the past. Fox did leave the broadcast showing a fan in a Miami logo-ed hardhat get a big ball of snow dropped on him but still it looked like a blast.
